Marisol López Prieto, founder of Jardín de Joyas

The story behind
every flower

Jardín de Joyas is born from the hands of Marisol López Prieto: dancer, artisan, and dreamer. A story connecting the stage with the workshop, Buenos Aires with Madrid, and dance with flowers.

Act I

The Stage

Since 2010, Marisol has been part of the ballet company at Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, one of the world's most important opera houses. For over fifteen years, she has performed classical and contemporary repertoire, developing a discipline and aesthetic sensibility that today are reflected in every piece she creates.

Ballet taught her that beauty lives in the invisible details: the exact position of a finger, the precise tilt of the head, the perfect timing of a leap. That same attention to detail is what she applies when assembling each tiny flower.

Act II

The Garden

Based in Madrid, Marisol found in artisan jewelry a new form of expression that complements her life as a dancer. Jardín de Joyas was born as a personal project: the need to create something tangible, lasting, with the same hands that every night tell stories on stage.

The connection between dance and jewelry is deeper than it seems. Both require patience, repetition, and a constant pursuit of grace. Each pair of earrings is a small act of balance between abundance and restraint, between the bold and the subtle.

The flowers that Marisol assembles one by one evoke the gardens that inspire her: wild yet harmonious, spontaneous yet deliberate.

Philosophy

Precision

Each flower is placed with the exactitude of a choreography rehearsed hundreds of times.

Patience

There are no shortcuts. Each piece takes the time it needs to be exactly what it should be.

Simplicity

The most powerful beauty needs no explanation. Flowers, metal, hands, time.
